Emerge 2007 was a blast!! i cant believe its alrdy over.. everyone has been anticipating for the day to come.. and now, its over!! hahaha. but then again, even though the conference was only for a mere 4days.. it totally rocked my world.. its not just the events.. the hype.. the excitement.. but the word and the prescence.. and i'm sure that i'm not the only one who's been impacted.. woohoo! =D

1st night of Emerge started out with a bang.. the Parade of Schools was awesome! almost every school did fantastic stunts.. they flew damn high please.. especially SIM/SMU's male flyer.. he almost hit the ceiling of expo hall 8 can! hahaha. and speaking of SIM/SMU.. they were the champions for Emerge 2007 POS!! congrats~ yay! so proud of my baby bear.. i think he did really well for both the POS dance and Dance ministry's item =D also, i'm very proud of TP/RP! i loved there stomping cheer.. awesome! its was definitely the best among the rest.. Pastor Kong and Sun even gave them a standing ovation! woohoo! well done guys! TRP oei~ :))

2nd night was fantastic as well! Represent Crew was given the opportunity to perform in front of the entire congregation.. whoa!! scarey man.. can u imagine.. thousands and thousands of eyes watching you dance on stage.. my knees were practically shaking when i was waiting backstage.. but once we got up there.. we all got high and started dancing and cheering.. woohoo! so fun! really gotta thank God for favor to be upon us.. i mean.. edmund asked us to perform during service just by watching our dance rehersal.. which was totally messy and retarded.. so ya.. it had to be the work of God :)) heh.

3rd night was like o my gosh.. Love filled the entire hall.. 1st, it was because liu gen hong (taiwanese actor/singer) proposed to his girlfriend, vivi in front of the whole church after singing one of his new songs.. wah! so sweet la.. i cried man.. hahaha. ya la ya la.. i'm a sucker when it comes to sweet and mushy stuff.. lols. after that.. its was Sun.. whoa.. she's really one amazing woman of God.. we watched a video of how she helped those poor oprhaned kids in china.. they have never even been out of there village before.. so some of our church workers brought all the kids out for so fun and macdonalds.. and you know what.. they've never tried macdonalds until that day! hahaha. this part reminds me of yong zhi and khye..

hahahaha! damn funny la.. it'll be even funnier if u could see their expressions.. rofl. =p so anyways, while the kids were out having some fun.. Sun sent a team to do up the entire orphanage.. she even provided new beds for all of them.. and when the kids returned.. they grinned from ear to ear.. they were so happy and excited.. yep.. everyone felt so touched by what Sun is doing.. she's simply awesome! also, it was her birthday! so we celebrated her birthday as a church.. Pastor Abraham and Kong both prayed for Sun.. and alot of people cried.. we just felt so moved and impacted by what she has been doing.. despite being busy with her career.. she's still helping the less fortunate.. mmm.. never look down on the power of one.. wow~ i really admire Sun and her courage.. she really laid down her life on the altar and let God use her so wonderfully.. even though its tough.. she still continued carrying the cross.. its like even though she may be doing alot of things to help people all around the world.. but the press in singapore never go easy on her.. they will always find some stuff to criticize her about.. but both her and Pastor Kong remained strong.. believing that God will make a way.. and true enough.. time and time again.. they've overcomed the many obstacles in their way.. i feel very proud of Sun.. she's really a woman whom i look up to.. SUN, JIA YOU! :))

o ya! before the night service.. we had our talent time competition in the afternoon! hahaha. just wanna thank all those who came down to support and those who dropped me an sms wishing me all the best.. appreciate it guys!

The final day of emerge was definitely the best! I think that the drama team did an awesome job with the Musical, PVC Rocks.. hahaha! hilarious! *we are the pandan babes.. you are the pandan cakes* lols. also, Represent Crew was asked to do a performance over at Chinese Church :)) we're really very blessed to have so many opportunities to perform for church man.. heh. oh! and we saw liu gen hong again!! hahaha~ both him and vivi complimented on our dance.. wah!! so honoured.. hahaha. liu gen hong even noticed puiman la.. chey lei bah plankie! lols. so anyways, after performing for chinese church at jurong west.. we cabbed back down to expo for the final night conference.. results for all the competitions were out.. and here's a big congratulations to all my frens who made it!

mmm.. Represent Crew really did come a long way.. things weren't so good to begin with.. we always had our differences.. politics.. different commitments.. disagreements.. no time to practice together.. stuff like that.. so much so that we decided to drop out from talent time just 3 weeks before Emerge.. but after being slammed back into relaity by ryan and kenny.. we decided to go on with it.. it was really very rush for us.. less than 3 weeks to come up with music, choreography, formation and to synchro steps.. it was tough man.. easpecially since we've got school, assignments, project o trainings, SOT.. really not easy.. things remained rocky until like 1 week before Emerge.. when we decided that things cant go on this way.. so all of us sat down and talked things out.. from that day onwards.. things took a turn for the better.. we began to compromise & accomodate with one another.. there was more respect and unity.. everyone was happier.. practices became more fruitful =) hahaha. wah.. we really did come a long way man.. it was a great and fun journey.. thanks pui, chews, ger, choons, aaron, eddie and also ter.. mmm.. ter, even though u were nt able to join us for finals due to NS.. but u're still a part of Represent.. a part of us :))
